The CPO also maintains two informative websites: Social Issues.com, providing an online community for discussion and debate of all the major social issues affecting society. Peace Conference.org where the purpose is Peace & Greater Harmony in the Community

TARGETED COMMUNITY Target population: Individuals in influential roles of public service and group leadership. These leaders are often found participating in both elected and non-appointed positions in which they exercise some aspect of influence or flow to group activities and their direction. Target
population: Individuals in influential roles of public service and
group leadership. Community Need: Community Progress seeks to bridge differences and locate similar goals within organizations, to be more effective in communicating and inviting participatory direction within groups. Our vision is a proactive leadership combining ideas, resources and sharing causes that bring a greater sense of community involvement and measurable impact (improving quality of life for all and bringing in a sense of ‘egalitarianism’ and benevolent being by example). Many groups can be found ranging from a block club, church gathering to an after school program supervisory role. The organizational goal may be civic minded, a charity, arts appreciation, to social in nature. The type of interaction doesn’t really matter, as long as community and the ideals of group participation function as a primary social role. Community Progress results from a formulation of leadership gatherings, trainings and production of educational materials. CP outreach brings together a number of “great teachers”, those who have excelled in the areas of communication mastery and effective leadership within organizations, that can offer guidance and support to our organizations. After successfully surveying over 100 organizations, chamber groups and clubs, our determination is that there is wide spread interest in training and supporting group leaders in their roles, through active engagement in seminars and events. Future Needs: CP will further undertake the investigation of community concerns and outlook by surveying various organizations on their interests and needs, gathering available research and target local and national leaders to bring them together for focused interaction. Determining community group needs and appeal will help determine future CP directives.
Research Findings: So far there is no “one” national or local group doing anything close to what CP proposes, in terms of bringing regional and inner city community group leaders together for specific trainings, major meetings and annual events that can bridge unifying interest around a local leadership theme. Some universities and corporate, public and art sector organizations have presented seminars on the theme of leadership and human potential seminars, and personal development trainings flourish within some organizations. However, a national conference on the subject seems very desirable. Copyright
